The purpose of the Department of Special Education prepares students to special education professionals who have both theoretical and practical knowledge. The program focuses on academic foundation and practices in special education as well as research methodology. The graduates in the Department of Special Education can work in a variety of settings including higher education, research centers, schools and districts, welfare-related institutions, and counseling centers.
